Junior Full-Stack Engineer
Hybrid (Glasgow HQ) | Full-time
About Us
We’re building a modern ERP platform for the waste industry. Following a successful seed funding round, we’re expanding our engineering team and looking for a junior to early-career engineer who wants to deepen their skills while working on a real, customer-facing product.
Our mission is to help waste and recycling companies run more efficiently through smarter software — and to support them in leveraging AI and data in everyday operations.
We’re a hybrid team with a central Glasgow HQ for collaboration, learning, and shared problem-solving.
What You’ll Do
You’ll join a small, experienced engineering team and contribute to production features across the full stack. You’ll work with support and mentorship, while being trusted to own parts of features and gradually take on more responsibility.
Your role will include:
Building and improving features in our Rails 8 application using Hotwire, Stimulus, and Turbo Native
Working with teammates and customers to understand workflows and turn requirements into solutions
Owning smaller features or components end to end, from implementation through testing and release
Contributing to code quality, testing, and maintainability as the product evolves
Learning and applying modern development practices, including CI/CD and AI-assisted workflows
Our Stack
Ruby on Rails 8
Hotwire (Turbo, Stimulus, Turbo Native)
PostgreSQL
TailwindCSS
ViewComponent
Minitest
GitHub with CI/CD pipelines

Modern Rails stack with room to learn and influence technical direction
Close collaboration with customers and experienced engineers
Hybrid working with a Glasgow office for team time and support
