International Marketing Manager (12 month FTC)
Glasgow (Hybrid)
£45,000 - £50,000
About the job
This is a 12-month maternity cover opportunity to lead marketing within a growing global tech business at a genuinely exciting point in its journey. You’ll step into a well-established function with clear plans already in motion, taking ownership of delivery while shaping the next phase of growth. The business is expanding internationally, launching new products, and accelerating cloud migration across its customer base, and marketing sits right at the centre of that ambition.
You’ll lead a small but capable team, managing both strategic direction and day-to-day execution. Your focus will be on driving qualified pipeline, strengthening product adoption, supporting international growth, and ensuring the brand shows up consistently across all touchpoints.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll manage budget across digital and traditional channels, oversee integrated campaigns (content, email, SEO, webinars, social and events), own KPI reporting at global level, and work closely with Sales, Product, UX/UI and the Commercial Director to ensure marketing is fully aligned to commercial objectives. You’ll also take responsibility for optimising the MarTech stack and using insight, data and performance metrics to guide decision-making.
About the company
The culture is collaborative and ambitious, with a clear focus on outcomes. You’ll be trusted to lead, challenge and influence, not just deliver campaigns. The business has a strong heritage, an established client base, and a growing international footprint. It’s now in a scale phase, investing in product innovation, expanding into new markets and modernising its customer base through cloud adoption. Marketing is seen as a commercial growth driver rather than a support function, with direct visibility at senior leadership level.
About you
This role will suit an experienced Marketing Manager looking for a fresh challenge, someone ready to step up into a broader leadership remit. You’ll bring experience from a tech, software or SaaS environment (or a closely related sector), with a strong grasp of digital marketing tools, integrated campaign delivery and data-led decision making. You’re comfortable reporting to senior leadership, owning departmental KPIs and translating commercial objectives into practical marketing plans.
You’ll be confident leading and developing a small team, managing budget, and balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Experience supporting product launches, driving adoption within an existing customer base, or generating leads in new markets would be advantageous.
Most importantly, you’ll be commercially aware, analytical, and comfortable operating at pace in a scaling environment.
