Credit Controller

This position offers the chance to manage your own ledger within a well-established and growing business based in Troon. You will play an important role in protecting cash flow, building strong client relationships and supporting wider financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and proactively pursue overdue payments in a professional manner.
- Allocate cash accurately and complete regular bank reconciliations.
- Assess new customer credit applications and set appropriate credit limits.
- Investigate and resolve invoice queries and disputes efficiently.
- Monitor aged debt, credit ratings and account risk.
- Recommend escalation or recovery action where required.
- Support month-end reporting and maintain accurate ledger records.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience in a Credit Control role.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical ability.
- Ability to manage workload effectively in a busy environment.
- Competent in MS Office and accounting systems.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
