Title: Communications Manager
Location: Glasgow (hybrid working model)
Salary: Up to £45,000 + bonus
*4-day working week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Communications Manager to join a multinational manufacturer in Glasgow on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role offers a 4-day working week and is ideal for anyone with proven experience in a similar role and looking for a new challenge or career advancement.
The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, the Communications Manager will be responsible for managing all press and media relations functions for the brand globally, driving and coordinating a broad external communication agenda to enhance the brand and reputation in the marketplace, and supporting the PR and marketing teams in promoting various products. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering strong positive engagement strategies and results across the site through internal communications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement PR, external and internal communications strategies to support business goals.
- Develop a channel marketing campaign to help boost local marketing.
- Run campaigns to reach new markets and improve on existing ones.
- Assist in making sure all team members communicate well.
- Build relationships with key press and manage PR and social media agencies.
- Identify and create job stories and press releases to target online and print media coverage.
- Manage newsletters, social media, and online portals.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience working in a similar role and with experience of the responsibilities listed above - experience within the manufacturing industry is beneficial.
- A relevant university degree.
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with MS Office tools. Adobe, Wordpress or Campaign Monitor experience is beneficial.
Package on Offer:
- Salary of up to £45,000 DOE + 10% bonus.
- Hybrid working with the office based in the Greater Glasgow area.
- 4-day working week, Monday – Thursday.
