Role: Business Process Specialist
Location: Clydebank (Hybrid Working Options Available)
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Process Specialist to support process mapping, review, and improvement across the organisation. This role is integral to driving business transformation initiatives and ensuring the organisation’s key processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with best practices.
Working closely with Process Owners and Champions across all business areas, the successful candidate will take ownership of business process management activities, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead process mapping activities across the organisation and implement Business Process Management procedures.
- Ensure processes are mapped to required standards, providing support and feedback as necessary.
- Act as Product Owner and administrator for the Business Process Management System (BPMS).
- Train, coach, and support Process Champions in mapping, review, and improvement techniques.
- Ensure process maps and structures are clearly defined and aligned with best practice.
- Support Process Owners with process reviews and identify Opportunities for Improvement (OFIs).
- Contribute to the redesign of processes where required.
- Define and track KPIs to measure process maturity and activity across business functions.
- Collaborate with the Business Analysis function and Portfolio teams throughout the process improvement lifecycle.
- Promote and embed a culture of continuous improvement, process excellence, and innovation across the organisation.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field (HND qualifications with relevant experience may also be considered).
- Strong expertise in Business Analysis methodologies, processes, techniques, and documentation.
- Proven experience in leading process improvement initiatives with measurable outcomes.
- Hands-on experience with process mapping, review, and improvement.
- Proficiency in process improvement software/tools.
- Certification in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt, Process Mapping) desirable but not essential.
