Location: Watford (Onsight, accessible by car)

Salary: Up to £60,000 base + OTE of £70k (Uncapped Commission)

The Role:

As a Business Development Manager, you'll play a vital role in generating new business while maintaining the company's values and contributing to its continued growth. The role will see you generating new business with both pre-existing and new clients, overseeing the sales process from initial contact through to closing.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve growth targets.
  • Lead business growth efforts through strategic decisions and direct client interactions.
  • Identify new opportunities within existing clients by understanding their needs and challenges.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers, pitch, and close deals.
  • Oversee customer growth and retention, delegating account management while ensuring targets are met.
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure customer satisfaction to secure new business.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development and account management, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Excellent negotiation skills focused on creating win-win solutions.
  • Familiar with CRM software and sales tools for account management.
  • Willingness to travel for client visits and industry events.
  • Creative and open to learning and trying new sales approaches.
