Contract: Full time, permanent

We are seeking a passionate and driven Business Development Manager with experience working within the Health and Safety sector to join a growing Glasgow-based SaaS organisation. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in expanding their client's customer base and driving revenue growth, with a particular focus on promoting EHS software solutions.

Leveraging the robust Microsoft 365 platform, they offer comprehensive support for a wide range of EHS and Quality functions.

 

Their suite includes modules for Incident Management, Audits, Inspections, Permit Management, and more. Additionally, they provide essential tools like Action Manager and Business Intelligence, enhancing efficiency throughout organisations. With a global client base spanning industries such as Aerospace & Defence, Manufacturing, Oil & Energy, and Chemicals, they remain dedicated to simplifying EHS processes with intuitive and powerful software systems.

 

This role is perfect for anyone hungry to build a strong pipeline of clients by generating leads through various business development strategies.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target potential clients through market research and prospecting.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers to understand their business needs and challenges.
  • Present and demonstrate the EHS software solutions to prospects, highlighting their unique value propositions.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute effective lead generation strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Continuously update and maintain accurate records of sales activities in their CRM system.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets within the Health and Safety sector.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS products and the ability to convey their value to potential clients.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
