Nine Twenty are delighted to be supporting our client to join their dynamic team where they craft exceptional beers and uphold the highest quality standards in their brewery operations. As a Brewer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that their production goals are met while maintaining the utmost quality in every batch. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Brewer will be responsible for gaining a comprehensive understanding of all processes including covering job duties for others within the cidery business.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace to promote efficiency and safety.
  • Operating the 48HL Simatec Brewhouse with precision and expertise.
  • Overseeing cellaring operations to ensure optimal fermentation and aging conditions.
  • Performing regular preventive maintenance on brewing equipment to minimise downtime.
  • Conducting routine lab testing and leading quality improvement projects.
  • Ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and making adjustments as needed.
  • Contributing to EBF’s Pilot Brewing System and New Product Development (NPD) projects.
  • Assisting in raw materials acquisition and maintaining inventory levels.

 

Experience required:

  • Brewing Degree/Diploma
  • Full UK driving license
  • A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to quality
  • Diligent record-keeping and organizational abilities
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • A commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic work environment
