Nine Twenty are delighted to be supporting our client to join their dynamic team where they craft exceptional beers and uphold the highest quality standards in their brewery operations. As a Brewer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that their production goals are met while maintaining the utmost quality in every batch.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Brewer will be responsible for gaining a comprehensive understanding of all processes including covering job duties for others within the cidery business.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace to promote efficiency and safety.
- Operating the 48HL Simatec Brewhouse with precision and expertise.
- Overseeing cellaring operations to ensure optimal fermentation and aging conditions.
- Performing regular preventive maintenance on brewing equipment to minimise downtime.
- Conducting routine lab testing and leading quality improvement projects.
- Ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and making adjustments as needed.
- Contributing to EBF’s Pilot Brewing System and New Product Development (NPD) projects.
- Assisting in raw materials acquisition and maintaining inventory levels.
Experience required:
- Brewing Degree/Diploma
- Full UK driving license
- A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to quality
- Diligent record-keeping and organizational abilities
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- A commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic work environment
