Job Brief
We’re looking for you to join our Architecture team as a Technical Architect. You will report to the Lead Architect and provide technical expertise to the development teams. You will help build a variety of games for our clients, assist with backend gaming solutions, and handle third-party integrations. You’ll be customer facing and be expected to explain complex systems to stakeholders with varying degrees of technical knowledge.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Be responsible for designing and integrating solutions to meet the company’s needs.
- Work with clients and delivery teams to understand requirements, produce architectural designs and ensure these are communicated and understood by all stakeholders
- Work within the Architecture function to review solutions, identify overlaps or conflicts with ongoing changes and resolve as needed
- Work with delivery teams to break down work and plan as needed
- Produce and maintain living technical documentation on the company’s systems and products
- Work with Product Managers to identify technical roadmap items and prioritise accordingly
- Point of contact for technical aspects of projects and delivery of games to clients
- Provide project and work updates to both internal and external stakeholders as needed
Requirements
- Experience with designing or worked with cloud-based solutions, ideally AWS.
- Experienced with all levels of system design from the front end to the back-end database and network infrastructure
- A great written and verbal communicator who can present your designs to clients and the development teams concisely
- Experienced of working in an agile environment and be able to break down solutions to units of work that can be independently developed
- Experienced in designing high performance, secure, and resilient web-based systems
Other useful experience and skills
- Be experienced working in a serverless environment
- Have working experience of AWS and Lambda functions
- Have experience in the gaming industry
- Have a degree in computer science or software engineering
