Just one more week until our Time Served and Beyond. A Career Path from Maintenance event!

We are excited to announce our three guest speakers that will be telling their story next week at the event. All three speakers have had a great career and gained so much experience that we cannot wait to hear about. Below is a short snippet about each of our event speakers.

Our first speaker is John Hogg, Group Engineer and Project Manager at Highland Spring Ltd.

John is a chartered Electrical Engineer and started his journey within manufacturing 30 years ago. He is a time served and degree qualified in Electrical Engineering. John started his career as a Shift Engineer supporting front line equipment maintenance and repair. He has progressed his career from Shift Engineer, Lead Shift Engineer, Shift Manager, Area Manager and Site Engineering Manager.

John then decided to take on Operational Manufacturing Leadership and moved into an Operations Manager role. Which then led into a Manufacturing Manager role looking after operations and engineering. As John's career progressed, he moved in to Multi-site Leadership which was responsible for engineering excellence, opex and continuous improvement focusing on both strategic and tactical deployment and delivery. Through John's career his focus has always been on improvement, right first time, engineering excellence and supporting people on that journey of understanding and delivering ‘what good looks like’.

Our second speaker is Stuart Banks, Managing Director at Cairn Renewables Ltd.

After McVitie's, Patrick was an Engineering Manager in a bakery for 3 years and is now a Senior Project Engineer with AG Barr. His role involves organising engineering resources, ensuring continuous improvement and optimisation of plant and machinery by working in partnership with the Production Management Team.
