1. Can you tell us a little about your background before you joined the team at Nine Twenty?
Coming from a sales background, I have been in recruitment industry for about 8 years. I first started out as a temporary consultant running a busy admin desk supplying over 100 temps to various public sector clients. From there I moved on to Student Loans Company as a Recruitment Advisor, recruiting both volume and non-volume roles over a variety of sectors and locations. Most recently I have joined Nine Twenty as an Account Manager, which is a new and exciting challenge recruiting in the IT sector.
2. What attracted you to working with our team?
Nine Twenty are well known within the recruitment sector for being one of the best bespoke IT agencies in the sector. I wanted to learn and develop my IT recruitment skills and where better to do this than at an IT specialist agency.
3. What does your role in the business involve?
My role is to manage both the client and candidate through the full recruitment process, from the initial role requirement being provided to the candidates first day. I provide industry advice to ensure be the best outcome for both my client and candidate.
4. What is your focus over the next 6 months?
My focus over the next 6 months is to continue to develop my network and brand as part of the Nine Twenty team and continue to learn the IT environment to make sure our clients and candidates receive the best service possible.
I have assisted with various roles ranging from customer service, digital marketing to IT support and developers. This has given me the chance to interact with my colleagues and learn more about the structure of the business. The support and encouragement I have received from my colleagues has been instrumental in my development over this time.
5. Tell us more about who you are out of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy many things. Staying in and watching movies, going long walks, I recently started spin classes which I’ve became a bit obsessed with. I like to socialize with friends, especially now after being in lockdown for so long, going to festivals, the cinema, musicals and all the other usual stuff.
