Rachael Baxter caught up with our client, David Lammie from Redeem, to find out about Redeem’s company culture, what business areas they are looking to grow and what skill set they look for when hiring…

 

 

David, can you give us an overview of Redeem?

Redeem Group is the leading mobile industry services company. We provide various services in the sourcing, processing and resale of mobile devices.

Our ability, expertise and capability drives and motivates consumers to trade-in their old devices at the point-of-sale, across multiple channels. Coupled with our extensive global reach, Redeem acts as a catalyst in the growth of the pre-owned device marketplace. Redeem provides solutions to mobile network operators, retailers, original equipment manufacturers, businesses and consumers.

 

What is it like to work to Redeem, can you tell us a little about the company culture?

Working with product that constantly evolves in the market means that Redeem have to be as quick to meet the market demands. When you walk into any of our offices, you can feel the energy from our employees, all of whom are focused on delivering an excellent customer experience to make Redeem the best company in our sector.

 

You are currently recruiting, what areas do you need staff and what can potential employees expect in these roles?

With Redeem offering so many online propositions to our customers, there is an enormous need for IT to provide ongoing support and regular maintenance and improvements to these sites.  It means that we are looking for talented, enthusiastic Application Support Analysts to join us. There is potential to move onto developing new customer propositions and use the latest technologies.

 

What would make someone successful in this team?

We are looking for talented, enthusiastic Application Support Analysts to join us and help us deliver even better service to our growing list of customers. You’ll get the chance to work with a range of tools and technologies. A willingness to learn is essential as we constantly aim to use the latest technologies to make our propositions even better.

 

Can you tell us a little about what long term career successful applicants can work towards?

We’ve always aimed to retain our best talent and this role would be no different. Working in our support team would give successful applicants the knowledge and experience desired to work on any new propositions and potentially progress their career through to mid-level developer and senior developer roles in Redeem.
