Weekend Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical Bias) 


Permanent Contract 

3 day work week - Weekend Shift (36h/week) -  Fri-Sun 07:00-19:00; and nightshift: Fri-Sun 19:00-07:00

We are seeking a candidate with a diverse skill set and a proactive, collaborative approach who can build relationships and have a passion & drive for continuous improvement. 


  • You will play a  pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of efficient and effective maintenance, repair, problem solving and improvement of assets and their availability across the site.  

  • You will work closely with site personnel to ensure all maintenance is effectively developed and delivered and to provide feedback on relative improvements across the site.   

  • You will implement and developing maintenance programmes that support and improve asset performance and utilisation.  

  • You will promptly and appropriately responding to plant breakdowns and to secure & repair the root cause to minimise downtime.   

  • You will  report any outcome of plant maintenance issues via SAP to ensure best practise has been shared.   

  • You will keep Health & safety compliance and high-quality standards are the forefront of your work. 

What are we looking for from you?

  • You will have the drive to make a positive difference to manufacturing excellence and use your excellent analytical skills to solve problems.  

  • You will be a time served Engineer (mechanical or electrical) with the relevant qualifications and have demonstrable knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and environmental risk principles.  

  • Experience within FMCG would be beneficial but not essential
