I am looking to speak to experienced system developers to join my clients established team in Clydebank. Successful candidates will support the Senior Systems Developer with ongoing projects from the IT/System Development workload inventory, they will also work on review/maintenance and development of the organisations key operational debt recovery system(s).
Experience & Qualification
- Good Communication Skills, written and oral
- IT experience in a systems development environment
- Degree qualified from a Software Development/Computer science stream
Essential:
- HTML, CSS
- JavaScript
- MVC
- ASP.net
- C# - OOP (Cross train from Java, VB.Net)
- SQL (Knowledge of Data Normalisation, CRUD)
- SVN, TFS (Other Source Control systems)
- Microsoft Products (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Desirable:
- Entity Framework
- SQL (Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers)
- JavaScript / J Query
- Bootstrap
- Visual Studio
Duties and responsibilities:
- Deliver service to all your customers internal & external that satisfies in spirit the outcomes required by Treating Customers Fairly principles.
- To carry out tasks assigned by the Head of IT and/or Senior Management
- Develop applications to business standards and defined specifications
- Maintain in-house applications to meet continual business needs
- Employ adequate unit testing of all work carried out
- Develop intuitive applications
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure developed products meet expectations
- Document all work to a high standard
- Ensure products are developed with system resources in mind and how they could affect other products
