Our long term client are based in the heart of Glasgow build and develop robust and reliable websites, applications and web platforms. With a strong track record of measurable success, their expertise allows them to deliver responsive and effective websites, applications and extensive back-end systems for organisations across the public and private sector.

This role is for a capable .NET developer with experience delivering website projects, ideally via an established CMS such as Umbraco.  Our client are looking for someone who can own medium to large scale projects, and lead them, with the support of the Technical Director and their teammates, through to completion.

 

Key Skills

  • C# .NET web development (MVC)
  • Experience of major CMS systems, ideally Umbraco, but an equivalent would be satisfactory
  • SQL Server 2017 (or equivalent)
  • WebAPI / RESTful services
  • HTML5 / CSS3
  • GIT source control
  • JavaScript – ideally Angular JS

Highly Desirable

  • Website development experience
  • Business application development experience
  • Strong trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity of Agile methodologies
  • Ability to create specifications
  • Experience in estimating tasks
  • Commitment to customer service and ensuring high standards of communication and quality
