Nine Twenty are delighted to be assisting our Glasgow based client, a cloud-based procurement platform for the Life science and biotech sector, in their next phase of growth! My client are are on the lookout for an experienced UX/UI designer to help shape their UX/UI process from scratch. This role offer’s a massive opportunity, as your success will have a direct impact on the organisations growth.

Salary range:  £35,000 -£40,000

Role overview 

You will work alongside the business, development teams and the customer to gain an in depth understanding of the process, need and priorities. The ideal candidate will take complete ownership of the process to help shape their fantastic products. You will be responsible for delivering creative, innovative and intuitive designs to ensure the final product delights the users as well as presents a remarkable refined and efficient solution.

Qualifications:

  • Honours Degree in Visual/ Interaction Design, HCI,Software, or Product Design

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience of designing complex business specific cloud-based SaaS products using the principles of UX design
  • Experience working in an IT/Software environment
  • Deep understanding of the Agile development process.
  • Strong visual design, skilled in producing high fidelity screen layouts and functional wireframes.
  • Some HTML and CSS experience would be advantageous.
  • Flexible approach to roles and responsibilities.
  • Strong communicator, comfortable presenting to all levels form CEO to users
