Nine Twenty are working exclusively with our Edinburgh based who are currently seeking a technical support analyst to join their team on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will have most of the following:
- Understanding of computer hardware and IT skills with a high level of Excel and MS office
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to learn new skills and acquire new knowledge such us basic technical understanding of IT systems
- The ability to multitask, be methodical and remain calm through ay crisis situation
- Understanding of engineering or a mathematical science
- Programming skills (any language) would be beneficial but are not mandatory: sql, javascript, css, html, VB, Python, Excel
- Ability to speak a second European language would be beneficial but are not mandatory
- Shift working and night working experience are beneficial
Please note: You will be offered a rota of a minimum of 35 hours per week, which will be averaged over the financial year. Your average working week will be made up of a minimum of two, 12 hour shifts, as part of a rota with other Operators providing desk cover 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Your basic pay will be £8.97 per hour (+25% shift allowance). The shifts will be either 8am to 8pm or 8pm to 8am. Please only apply to be considered if you are willing to work these shift patterns.
