We are Incentive Games and we are looking for a Technical Architect to join our growing business.

Incentive Games is a young, exciting and energetic company that specialises in helping its clients acquire, retain and monetise customers via web and mobile apps in the form of free and pay to play games. We use the science of gamification to make user engagement simple. The company is growing and we have ambitions to be a leading games provider and we have been gaining recognition nationally and abroad.

Our current clients are multi-national gambling and payment companies based in Europe, Africa, Asia, and the USA, but we have plans to expand into non-I-gaming markets.

Job Brief 

We’re looking for you to join our team as a Technical Architect, reporting directly to the CTO. You will provide technical expertise to the development teams, and help build a variety of games for our clients, backend gaming solutions and handle third-party integrations. You will be the main point of contact for architecture for those games in the production environment and any ongoing development work required.


  • Be responsible for building and integrating solutions to meet the company’s needs.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to development teams.
  • Work with multiple stakeholders across product, design, and development
  • Help us grow our technical solutions by continually researching current and emerging technologies and proposing changes where needed.
  • Assess the business impact that certain technical choices have.


  • Someone who has worked with cloud-based solutions, e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google; preferable AWS serverless / Lambda based solutions
  • Experienced with all levels of system design from the front end to the back-end database and network infrastructure
  • A great written and verbal communicator who can present your designs to the development teams concisely
  • Experienced of working in an agile environment and be able to break down solutions to units of work that can be independently developed
  • Experienced in designing high performance secure web based systems

Other useful experience and skills:

  • Be experienced working in a serverless environment
  • Have working experience of AWS and Lambda functions
  • Have experience in the gaming industry
  • Have a degree in computer science or software engineering
