Nine Twenty Technology are delighted to be working with their long-term client in Glasgow. My client is currently going through their next stage of significant growth and are looking for a very talented Lead Developer to help drive the team forward.
We are looking for a hand's on Team Lead to help lead a small team of developers.
The successful candidate will have a great approach to engineering and is an advocate of best practices.
They are a small, agile development team working in some of the latest technology niches. A robust approach to compliance coupled with a forward thinking attitude to capitalising on emerging trends, creates a unique development environment that is both fast moving and highly rewarding.
You should be an enthusiastic Lead Developer who is comfortable discussing your ideas to both technical peers and non-technical users, you should display a strong sense of pride in your work. You must be a confident and capable team leader, able to grow a small and agile development team and ensure strong performance.
Essential experience:
- Minimum 5 years application development experience in Back -End PHP required
- We would love to see one of the following: Laravel, Symfony, MVC, React, GULP/GIT, Kannel
Desirable:
- CSS and HTML development experience required
- Front-end skills, JavaScript and JavaScript framework development experience required, preferably with jQuery and Ember.js
- An understanding of big data and associated database challenges
