Nine Twenty Engineering and Manufacturing are excited to be supporting our Drinks Manufacturing client in their need for a Spirit Handling Manager to join their team on a full time and permanent basis.
As the Spirit Handling Manager, you will be second in command within this department, underneath the Production Director, responsible for 4 direct reports.
Your main purpose will be to manage the distillery operations from Spirit Handling to Warehouse ensuing the delivery of Key Results in line with the overall strategy ensuring site wide compliance with all relevant regulations.
Your main focus will be, Compliance, People Management, Stock Management and Operations.
We are looking for:
- Someone with a degree in brewing or distilling (preferred but not essential)
- Spirit Warehousing Management Experience
- Full Clean Drivers Licence
- Knowledge and experience or Health & Safety Legislation, HMRC, Environmental Compliance & Food Safety Standards
- Technical and Hands on Practical Ability
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and ERP - Preferably Drams or Tropos
- Knowledge and understand of GMP
- A proven leader who can set objectives
- Someone who can performance manage and develop individuals
- Ability to follow quality and compliance at all times
- Someone who who strives to continuously improve their working environment
- Ability to cope with change
- Flexibility to travel to different sites
- An engaging leader who interacts in a positive way with internal and external stakeholders
