Nine Twenty Technology are delighted to be partnering with their long term client in the recruitment of two developers who are passionate about being at the forefront of technology and with a strong interest in the Internet of Things.
The ideal candidates will experience working with a number of different technologies ranging from low-level device up to server technologies.
Your core responsibilities will be:
- Updating our suite of APIs.
- Working on our Non-IP data routing stack.
- Working on our LoRaWAN Network Server.
- Integrate with a number of cloud providers.
To be considered for the position, you must have:
- BSC in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or related technical field).
- Good OO understanding, preferably in Javascript/Typescript.
- Strong understanding of an SQL.
- Understanding of core networking concepts, such as subnets and packet routing.
- Must be comfortable with a modern *NIX operating system.
Nice to have:
- Previous working in an Agile team.
- Experience working to a Test Driven Development workflow.
- Have experience with a container system (such as Docker).
- Understanding of a messaging brokering platform such as RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka.
- Understanding of the design of distributed systems.
- Understanding of a modern source control system such as Git.
