Nine Twenty are now recruiting for a Software Engineer (Front End) to work in the western location of Glasgow.

The Role
Software Engineer is a role which requires the individual to take a holistic view and be engaged throughout the development lifecycle. This may sometimes require building relationships and interacting with individuals outside the team to ensure the product’s architecture will meet its business goals. Software Engineers will typically work with product managers on features, project managers and team leaders for release planning, architects to establish designs for excellent solutions, fellow engineers to execute delivery of said solutions, and the support team when urgent issues arise.
Experience required:
- Proven success in implementing and designing features within enterprise level solutions or suitable alternative experience in a professional engineering department
- Evidence of solving cross-functional technical problems with moderate levels of complexity
- Technologies used by call centres, CRM, BPM, workflow analysis/workforce optimization
- Aligning feature development with business initiatives and corporate roadmaps
- Agile development approaches including automated software testing
- Strong development experience using OO languages, web services and database technologies
- A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science / Software
- Engineering or an equivalent third level qualification in another technical field.
