The successful Software Engineer will be joining a passionate and creative team, working across all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
You will design and build software to support the IoT platform globally.
Your technical background:
Essential:
- Experience with backend technologies such as Node (TypeScript), Kotlin and PHP, inter-connected using Kafka and backed by MySQL.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Python is a plus.
- Understanding of restful APIs and integration into them.
- Experience of working in an Agile environment.
Bonus points:
- Familiarity with Docker as your local work environment and in deployments in a plus
- Docker Swarm, Kubernetes or similar container orchestration
