This is an exciting role for an experienced Software Developer to join our client's inhouse team and to work on an exciting new project as a full stack developer. Due to continuous growth, we are looking for someone to support our development team in a new and exciting greenfield project working in the ecommerce space on a global scale.
We are delighted to be representing our client, whose first product on the market has sold it’s one millionth product in an international market. They are also in the cusp of new product launches, with this year lined up to be their biggest yet.
Desired Skills:
- A sound knowledge of Java or another Object Orientated Programming language.
- Unit Tests.
- Node JS or exposure to a modern Javascript framework.
- HTML with experience in CSS.
- SQL Database.
- AWS – or a similar cloud services platform such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
- DynamoDB, Ec2.
- A keen interest in Machine Learning / AI.
The role involves working in a new R&D team that will focus on:
- Gathering market data using various automated programming techniques
- Recording of data in custom databases using cloud technologies
- Analysis of data which will laterally include machine learning
- Providing tools to allow the Business to analyse and report on data
- Automating business processes
Essential Attributes
- BA or BSc degree in Computer Science, Software Development or a related discipline.
- 2 years+ experience in software development.
- Enterprising and entrepreneurial and have a hunger to stretch your creativity and technical abilities to make a real impact on a growing business.
- A self-starter with an ability to work without close supervision.
- Academic thinker, creative problem solver.
- To be enterprising, self-motivated, highlight ambitious, with strong organisational skills.
- To embrace collaboration and teamwork.
- Excellent organisational skills and to be able to work smart and remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication and written skills.
