The successful candidate will be joining the Glasgow Development team, working on a recently launched masterplanning tool.
- You will be developing new and existing features in a codebase that is written in Ruby, C++ and JavaScript
- Interfacing with internal and external applications and services
- Requirements capture and analysis from internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Skills:
- Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline such as Computer Science.
- A minimum of 3 year’s experience developing code in a commercial environment.
Experience with some or all of the following languages:
- HTML / JavaScript / CSS
- Ruby (or Python)
- C++
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, self-motivated team player
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working with Web Services
- Experience with UI development ideally React
- Experience working with database or other file formats
- Experience working as part of an Agile team
- Knowledge of version control tools, ideally Perforce
