A brand new role has been created in one of the leading sports digital marketing agencies in the UK and Brazil. Founded in 2014, the company now employs 24+ people across two continents, with revenues growing year on year and ambitious growth plans ahead that you would get the opportunity to be a part of.

They are seeking an energetic, intelligent, and very driven individual to join the team and be instrumental in the organic growth of multiple large social media accounts in line with the business’ goals.

The team is distributed remotely as part of a 'remote first' culture. They attract people who push themselves to improve in order to unlock their potential. The business grew during the pandemic, and shows no signs of slowing down.

The Role

The objective of this role is to grow and manage the company’s various social media accounts through organic growth and community management. Working with an experienced manager and take a senior position in a team of social media specialists, you will be responsible for managing and operating two social media accounts daily with the responsibilities outlined below.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Creating fresh and engaging copy on a daily basis
  • Managing a community to ensure every conversation with followers is meaningful
  • Optimizing content delivery for maximum organic or paid reach
  • Providing best-in-class football and sports content for the various social channels
  • All of the above while keeping a consistent brand tone and being aligned with the brand guidelines

Requirements:

  • A strong passion for sports. This role is all-out sports related so a strong interest and passion for this is a must. Primarily football, rugby, horse racing and golf. An understanding or interest in sports betting would be beneficial but not essential.
  • 2+ years managing and operating social media profiles professionally, emphasis on creating content calendars and community management.
  • A real interest in social media marketing, you actively want to understand the mechanics and algorithms of social media platforms to improve your performance operating them.
  • Finger on the pulse for new social media trends, e.g. meme culture, algorithm hacks, emerging platform features.
  • Strong copywriting experience, you are passionate about writing engaging copy to drive growth.
  • A growth mindset. You want you to learn and develop yourself both personally and professionally.
  • Non-essential - Experience creating and managing social media paid ad campaigns on other platforms, e.g. Twitter and YouTube.
