Location: Remote UK (Office based in Edinburgh)

They have an audience of over 5,000,000 passionate sports fans across a range of social platforms and websites that provide invaluable betting insights around Football, Darts, Horse Racing, and more.

The Role:
The perfect candidate should have a passion for emerging social media trends, exhibit superb copywriting proficiencies, showcase a verified history of overseeing and enlarging social media channels, and have a love for football and betting.
The role of Social Media Specialist involves expanding the audience and extending their reach using a blend of unpaid and paid approaches. Moreover, you will craft compelling content tailored to the UK football betting audience (as well as other sports).
Responsibilities:
In this role you will work between a major UK name in the sports betting scene and the role will look a little like this:
- Use both organic and paid methods to grow social media followings and overall reach.
- Keep up with social media trends and algorithm updates to ensure content reaches as many people as possible.
- Manage social media channels by creating engaging content that stays true to the brand's voice.
- Analyse data to improve the performance of organic social media campaigns.
- Create innovative strategies to boost brand awareness through giveaways and larger campaigns.
- Understand the audience's preferences and tailor content to their interests, especially in sports betting.
Requirements:
- Passion and experience in digital marketing strategies.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and how algorithms distribute content.
- Interest in marketing psychology to engage followers and drive actions.
- Excellent copy writing and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for football and a recreational interest in sports betting.
- Self-motivated, able to work remotely, and eager to grow in a fast-paced environment
- Happy to occasionally work some weekends, as required in Football-related social media roles.
