My client are a successful organisation who are proud of their product range and are a business with a purpose. They have an ambitious growth strategy and are seeking a site leader for their small site in the Blackpool area. This is a key role for the business and will require strong leadership skills. The site is an important part of the growth strategy and your ability to guide the teams through change will be key.
You will be responsible for running the operation, managing and developing the people on site, managing the core processes of supply chain, quality, customer service and fulfilment. You will be tasked with introducing new ways of working such as improving the teams understanding of products, quality control, processes and systems and to work with the teams to introduce a continuous improvement culture.
The products have a range of complexities so having an understanding of technical products would be an advantage.
So if you have strong leadership skills, understand how the core functions of the site operate, are an influencer of people who is passionate about development and a progressive, lean systems based person then this could be the opportunity for you.
Ideal candidate will be/have the following:
- A comprehensive understanding of supply chain management, and administrative and production environments. Passionate for continuous improvement
- Excellent people skills with a proven ability to create cohesive teams, leading them to success through clear direction, connection and coaching
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to successfully manage a busy and diverse workload
- Process led. Ability to manage complexity and establish structure and discipline
- Good knowledge and experience in MRP/ERP systems
- High levels of emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills
- Strong commercial acumen and financially literate
- Excellent IT/planning systems skills (we use Salesforce, Sage 50, Factory Master, MS Office and G-Suite)
