Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Nine Twenty are supporting our clients large process plant in West coast for an electrically biased maintenance engineer who is time served, has experience of maintaining equipment in a process plant environments (steam/boilers/flow meters/SCADA systems/effluent)
Main purpose of the role
The role holder will be part of the site operations team and will be required to work anywhere on site as directed by the Shift Manager.
- To carry out routine maintenance and small electrical projects, operate continuous process plant
- Adhere to company’s health and safety procedures
- Carry out dynamic risk assessments as required
- Ensure accurate process records are kept
- The role holder will be required to work closely with all other stakeholders as required to ensure compliance
- The role holder is expected to assist in other activities when necessary and will be expected to participate in projects as required
The role holder will also require undertaking any required training.
Key Accountabilities/ Tasks
- Operate the plant
- Carry out maintenance
- Planning and Implementing Projects
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping
- Improving performance of the plant and equipment through RCPS
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Ability to build relationships and fit in with team ethic
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to effectively fault find
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in a maintenance role
- A minimum of HNC in electrical discipline and 17th edition with openness to doing 18th edition
- Preferable to have served trade apprenticeship
- Knowledge of Compex
This is a shift position working days/nights so you must be flexible to work shifts.
