An exciting opportunity to join a company who are on a journey of improvement and transformation to lead the HSEQ Department strategy in a COMAH and FMCG environment.
This is a great role where you will be responsible for working with and supporting the site leadership team around their processes as well as working across the site to drive behavioural safety and process safety. This is a small site with a LEAN team and initially you will be responsible for being the sole person leading HSE but in time, the plan will be to build a small team.
We are seeking someone strategic who does not mind rolling up their sleeves, who is passionate about working with people to improve, someone who has background in COMAH and process safety and someone who has great ambition to drive a department into new ways of working.
You should have/be:
- H& S Qualification – NEBOSH Diploma
- Management/leadership experience through a change process
- Previously experience working in a Health & Safety role on a COMAH site
- Demonstrate strong coaching and mentoring skills
- Good knowledge of H&S and Quality programme development and implementation
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- IT literate
- Must have experience working within food manufacturing environments.
- Good understanding of critical processes and drivers of performance and proven use of CI tools
