Nine Twenty are on the lookout for an experienced 'Senior Technical Support Engineer' to join their global client on the outskirts of Glasgow. This role plays sits with a specialist team who deliver Technical Support to the organisations customers and Partners.
- This role is supporting our customers in the US, therefore it requires shift work (8 hour shifts covering hours of 8am – 11pm, there are out of hours payments for working shifts passed 5pm )

Skills and experience:
- Significant experience of working within customer technical support or within a previous customer facing role.
- Experience supporting applications or infrastructure to “Blue Chip” enterprise customers, government agencies, IT professionals and partners
- interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Microsoft SQL Server: Transact-SQL and SQL Administration
- Experience of SSRS reporting
- Knowledge of office software programs, e.g. Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with debugging tools/techniques
- Experience of troubleshooting and resolving issues in an application support role
- Experience of supporting external customers
