Nine Twenty Technology is delighted to be working on a new role for a Glasgow based Senior SQL Developer on behalf of our client. This is a permanent technology vacancy that will be based in the city centre.

Our client are a global insurance provider who are continuing to grow their Scottish office by recruiting a SQL Developer to act as the technical lead of a number of projects as well as guiding and supporting the larger department to continued success.
As well as focusing on areas including system consolidation, data warehouse optimisation and data virtualisation, this role will also provide huge opportunities for long term career development on a global scale.

Senior SQL Developer Responsibilities:
- Working on and improving existing code
- Developing new systems from basic requirements
- SQL Server development
- Change management
- Team leadership and mentoring
Skills & Experience Required
- 5 years’ experience with SQL Server, specifically SQL Server 2012 and above
- SSIS Dev knowledge
- Strong communication skills are required across both written and verbal channels
- Technical lead experience in a project environment
Desirable
- Agile environment experience
- Big Data
- C# would be beneficial
- Source control/Continuous integration
