Nine Twenty Technology are delighted to be working with an exciting Global Technology company based in the heart of Glasgow City Centre looking for a Tech Lead Software Engineer.
Who will you be joining?
- You will be joining an internationally renowned company, creating life-changing software products implemented in the public sector both nationally and internationally.
- You will be joining a Cloud services team, developing cloud-based solutions for Android and iOS handheld mobile devices.The services are written in Java and run in Docker containers, using the Azure platform
- You will be joining a company that offers you the backing of a market-leading enterprise company but still operating as a new business leader driving innovation forward
- You will be working within an agile SCRUM development team, designing architecture for new services.

What will you be doing?
- You will be working with other software components to create powerful integrations
- You will be involved in the full software development life cycle for the new services (design, development, testing and documentations)
- Support customers and adapt the product to suit their needs
Background in the following:
- A degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- Extensive commercial experience within Java development
- Currently working in a senior role where you are responsible for architecting, designing and implementing complex software
- Technical leadership experience
- Team working experience
- Agile methodologies, TDD and code review experience
- RESTful API’s
- Micro-services (using technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes)
- Experience developing and deploying software solutions with Azure cloud.
