Nine Twenty Technology has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to join a global IT firm in Glasgow. The successful candidate will be involved in the design, development, and implementation of bespoke software applications. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work within the engineering team in order to develop new product features, identify and resolve quality issues, and handle product sustaining requests.
Salary: £60,000 + 10% bonus contribution & WFH allowance

Skills and experience:
- Design and development experience in Java 2 Platform technologies (J2EE, EJB) and web application servers;
- Extensive experience in object-oriented analysis/algorithm design
- Advanced knowledge and experience in software debugging
- Advanced knowledge and experience of root cause analysis
- Experience in version control systems e.g. Subversion, CVS, Git
- Experience in unit testing and TDD
- Experience in continuous integration systems
- Experience in software development life cycle methodologies
- Experience of cross-browser compatibility concerns
- Experience in web application development
- Experience in performance testing and tuning
