Nine Twenty technology are on the hunt for an experienced 'Senior Software Engineer' to join their global technology business on the outskirts of Glasgow. This is an opportunity work for a Global Technology Company with offices spanning across Europe, Asia and America. Our client is based in modern offices on the western outskirts of Glasgow (easily accessible by car and public transport), with fantastic onsite facilities.
As a 'Senior Software Engineer' you will play a key role within the business and will be involved in the design, development, and the implementation of web based applications. You will work closely with the engineering team in order to develop new product features, identify and resolve quality issues and handle product sustaining requests.

Skills and experience:
- Three + year’s experience working with relevant Object Oriented languages
- A degree or post graduate qualification in Computer Science or Software Engineering at 2:1 or above
- Advanced knowledge and experience of object oriented principles and design patterns
- Design and development experience in Java 2 Platform technologies (J2EE, EJB) and web application servers;
Desirable:
- Knowledge of JavaScript and ExtJs / ReactJs/Redux
- Experience with popular React. js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
- Proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
- Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable. js)
- Knowledge of modern authorisation mechanisms
