Job purpose

  • Reporting directly to the Head of Software Engineering, You will assert quality with inspiration and clarity, driving quality of delivery and encouraging team involvement. You will explore and learn about new technologies and influence the organisation to help them make the right choices. Responsibilities & Contributions
  • Make a significant contribution to the quality assurance and delivery of our digital solutions
  • Share your enthusiasm for Continuous Delivery and agile best practices
  • Communicate with our clients throughout the development process
  • Work with the product team to ensure Acceptance Criteria are defined clearly and asserted during development
  • Drive QA activities and help set QA policies for WORTH
  • Day to day hands-on coding for automation testing
  • Transform our clients with effective technical end-to-end delivery
  • Supporting Junior QA Engineers
  • Keep learning, continuously bringing new understanding to the team
  • WORTH is maturing rapidly, and we need you to help us develop and grow

Knowledge & Experience

  • Extensive working knowledge of a good variety of testing tools and technologies covering e2e testing, API testing, load testing and accessibility testing, such as Cypress, Selenium, Gherkin, JUnit, Jest and Cucumber
  • Strong on automation testing
  • Experience of analysing and testing software in a variety of common languages such as JavaScript, typescript, .NET.
  • Working with TDD and BDD to deliver software
  • Working collaboratively in an integrated team with Software Engineers (eg: Mobbing/Pairing)
  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle
  • Experience with the version control system Git
  • Experience with performance/load testing would be an advantage.
  • Working experience in an Agile environment
  • At least 5 years of working experience in testing with web-based applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills
  • Define and execute functional, automation and performance test plans and strategies.
  • Participate in implementing Continuous Integration practice
  • Manage and prioritise own workload, communicate key issues
  • Document and report all the issues you come across in test reports
