Nine Twenty Technology are delighted to be assisting in the recruitment of a Senior Manager in Digital Development in Edinburgh.

Are you an experienced digital development strategist? 

The Senior Manager Digital Development is a cross organisational role located within the Communications, Digital Development and Human Resources department.

The post holder is responsible for ensuring the implementation and development of the organisation’s ICT strategy, and she/he will line manage those staff working in digital development roles.  Her/his primary responsibility will be the development and implementation of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system that will function across the organisation, and the alignment and upgrading of our server services in light of CRM and other new ICT developments.

 The role contributes to the development of digital development within the context of the Communications strategy, ICT strategy, the Annual Business Plan  and the Strategic Plan.

Experience and Knowledge

  • Significant experience at a senior managerial level in a digital development environment (experience of CRM systems is particularly sought after)
  • Membership of a relevant professional body (such as CIPR, PRCA, CIM, IDM)
  • Experience of building effective relationships with external stakeholders and partners
  • Experience of leading multi-disciplinary teams
  • Clear knowledge and understanding of the range of digital development functions such as website development, ICT strategy, server architecture etc.
  • Experience of developing and implementing effective engagement strategies
  • Experience of working at senior manager level in a busy digital environment, managing complex issues
