This brand new role in a digital marketing agency, with a difference, has arisen due to continued growth and a roster of international clients.

The agency offers unique digital marketing services using a number of marketing platforms that get straight to the consumer, delivering effective results. These platforms accelerate growth from day one. The business works in a data-driven manner, providing faster interactions and continuous improvement. 

Due to continued growth, they need an experienced, ambitious Senior Digital Analyst to join the team in Glasgow and help them realize their ambitions for 2021.

 

The Role

You will be a proven, experienced Senior Digital Analyst that will enhance product offerings and make a significant contribution to ambitious growth targets for 2021.

Proven experience and pedigree in digital analytics and digital media is essential with the opportunity to shape and define future approaches in the fast-growing digital analytics industry.

It is essential that the post-holder is an independent, proactive, self-starter that approaches every opportunity with a curiosity that encourages ideation and continuous improvement across delivery teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, undertake, implement and deliver analytics, data and measurement projects across a range of digital media platforms;
  • Guardian of all analytics outputs from paid and organic media activity;
  • Own the development and delivery of digital media measurement and analytics strategy;
  • Ensure the business has leading edge analytics tools, measurement, metrics and skills and employ those to help the company achieve its goals;
  • Partner and act as a bridge across internal teams to demonstrably influence decision making through robust data, analytics and insight;
  • Deliver inspiring and actionable customer-facing insights rooted in robust data, analysis and measurement;
  • Be recognised as an expert in digital media analytics, data, measurement metrics and industry standards;
  • Understand business strategies and campaign objectives, and deliver data, measurement and analytics which demonstrably help the business achieve its goals;
  • Sound understanding of marketing and track record of turning analytical insights in to marketing practice;
  • Excellent presentation skills which include the development of new or imaginative ways of using or communicating data and insights;
  • Enhance awareness of and the need to better use analytics to drive performance measurement and optimization across the company.

Requirements

  • Detailed awareness of data and analytics platforms in the marketplace, their functionalities, limitations and suitability towards solving common and bespoke analytics problems, with a strong experience of proactively identifying, prioritizing and delivering data analytics projects;
  • Champion innovation and automation within relevant delivery functions;
  • Ability to define measurement frameworks across web, social, paid advertising, mobile messaging and email;
  • Knowledge and expertise of data schema and advanced behavioural tracking on websites and apps;
  • Working with channel marketing, oversees entirety of digital marketing cycle, from strategic planning, to concept development, to execution, evaluation, and follow-up;
  • Knowledge and expertise of attribution modelling;
  • Working with stakeholders and product owners to design, plan, and analyse A/B and Multivariate tests;
  • Able to work as a conduit between marketing and technical teams, with a working understanding of HTML, Javascript and CSS technologies and trends, as well as Google Tag Manager;
  • Experience of devising new ways of better exploiting data, identifying insights and presenting data in a stimulating and actionable way.
