Nine Twenty are delighted to be recruiting a Scheduling Analyst to join a hugely successful FMCG business based in Glasgow on a permanent basis. The role offers hybrid working as well as the opportunity to develop your career. 

 

You will be part of a small operations team to support the supply of  materials to meet the production requirements. Reviewing outstanding transaction on ERP system and closing these out or escalate to ensure that they are completed and correct. Work with suppliers to ensure their stocks are reflected accurately on ERP system.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain MRP Process and oversee daily routines within Supply Chain Teams and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ongoing Analysis of scheduling activities to ensure optimum plan through the developing of new reports / KPIs
  • Provide updates to key stakeholders such as Cust Service & Supply Planning if production dates impact shipments or stock cover.
  • Able to influence and work with internal and external customers to ensure service levels are fully met.
  • Assist with Day-to-day duties supporting Operations Scheduler and Scheduling Admin to ensure any changes in material deliveries are understood and provide holiday cover.
  • Accountable for 3rd party orders and stock including communication with customers and within the business.
  • Build strong relationships with customers providing the best service level and proactive problem solving when conflicts arise.

 

We are looking for someone with the following experience:

  • Intermediate IT knowledge, competent in the use of Excel to advanced level with good arithmetical and analytical skills. Knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP system would be preferred.
  • Innovative / Proactive problem solving
  • Real time decision making
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal). Works under own initiative when required and recognises when to escalate issues.
  • Knowledge of SAP, workflow of manufacturing  goods through to Despatch ideally in FMCG sectors.
