A new opportunity to join our well established client in their need for a Quality Manager to join their team permanently. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager the successful candidate will lead the Quality Team, from carrying out practical quality checks to managing their QMS system including product quality checks, customer complaints and quality audits whilst maintaining ISO standards.
The Role:
- Implement best practice Quality systems and processes
- Lead & develop the Quality Team on site x 2 team members
- Host all quality related audits, enforcement visits and customer visits
- Produce Weekly Quality scorecard and publish results in a monthly report
- Manage the Customer Complaint & Non Conformance Databases
- Maintain the ISO documentation systems and verification audits
- Provide excellent support to bottling /repack teams
- Maintain HACCP plan (Food Safety) for the site
- Ensure spirit quality meets customer requirements
- Carry out weekly hygiene audits across the site
- Ensure all Weights & Measures (Packaged Goods) Regulations are adhered to
- Carry out incoming quality checks of dry goods materials
Skills required:
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience is beneficial
- ISO Management System Control
- ISO Lead Auditor is beneficial
- HACCP Trained is beneficial
- Good problem solving/analytical skills
