The Role:
- The successful Python Developer will be joining a fantastic software development team, writing python code relating to building performance analysis.
- You will building python applications to integrate with the Virtual Environment
- Receiving data through REST API’s
Your background:
Graduates who have worked on Python projects will be considered for this position
- Ability to convert complex technical requirements into a plan of work for implementation within an existing application
- Able to specify tests to verify new code is robust and working as intended
- Enthusiasm for good software design combined with a desire to write clean code
Desirable Knowledge:
- Python data analysis libraries Numpy, Pandas and Mathplotib
- Python packages such as reportlab, xlsxwriter, openpyxl, docx
- Knowledge of how to use Python to perform GET and POST requests to a REST API
- Ability to conduct research into unfamiliar technologies or numerical models and devise approaches that will allow these to be included in the simulation engine
- Experience working as part of an Agile team
- Knowledge of version control tools, ideally Perforce
