Alexander Ross Holdings is a family-owned trading group based in Falkirk, Central Scotland. The group comprises three companies: Unico, Montague Lloyd and The Scottish Fine Soaps Company.

Due to further growth within the business, they are now looking to add an experienced candidate with some purchasing and sourcing experience.

Key tasks

  • Bill of materials creation
  • Costings for manufactured products
  • Running buying reports and ordering components and raw materials
  • Purchase order entry
  • Purchase acknowledgements
  • Sourcing new suppliers and new components
  • Chasing suppliers

Attributes

  • Highly self- motivated and dynamic.
  • Able to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Proactive with a strong customer service ethos.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of financial and business processes.
