Project Manager

£35-£45K

Fife - Hybrid (2 days office)

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a Tech business in Fife & help them to facilitate successful project delivery of their software and hardware solutions. As a business, they focus on delivering in-flight entertainment and content solutions for the aviation sector & are dedicated to crafting digital platforms that add value for their clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the timely execution of the product & service delivery projects
  • Assist definition of project scope of work and deliverables
  • Establish work breakdown schedules
  • Identify & manage project resource requirements
  • Create, monitor, control and deliver project delivery plans
  • Allocate work packages to assigned software development, content integration and tech support teams
  • Attend global on-site, project initiation workshops and entry into service deployments
  • Ensure all project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored
  • Work closely with client(s) and internal teams to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s) and their governance
  • Perform risk, change & quality management to control any unplanned project impacts
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Manage client(s) and stakeholders’ expectations and relationships
  • Assist in the identification and facilitation of internal process improvement initiatives
  • Communicating and adhering to new procedures, policies, and goals

Requirements:

  • 2 years experience in a Project Manager/Project Coordinator position
  • Prince II, Agile, ITIL, PMI and/or PMP certified
  • Analytic and decisive decision maker and demonstrated ability to prioritise and to delegate effectively
  • Customer and delivery focused; ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, internally & client facing, a persuasive
  • Project management planning tool(s) ie: Primavera, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project etc
  • ERP and Data control
  • Good understanding of Product Lifecycle Management systems
  • Knowledge in the fields of Information Technology, Aviation, Computer Science or engineering is an advantage. (Not essential)
