Nine Twenty Engineering And Manufacturing are delighted to be working with a high end global manufacturer as they look to strengthen their senior management team with a Production Supervisor within their factory in Ayrshire; This is an attractive days/backshift role with a company who are the best at what they do and have a low turnover of staff.

The aim of this role is to supervise, develop and execute production plan whilst ensuring production efficiencies are optimised and all SOP, Safe Systems Of Work, and Technical Specification documents are adhered to. To lead, motivate and develop all personnel in area of responsibility to allow them to achieve their full potential. Pursue excellence and clarity in production scheduling and analysis and communicate clearly what is required of production team. Manage and control receipt and inputting of raw materials.

Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Establish and lead Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Ensuring that reporting staff fulfill daily responsibilities
  • Meeting daily quality targets and production targets
  • Housekeeping/ GMP standards are maintained
  • H&S requirement of equipment and PPE are being adhered to.
  • Operational production schedules, plans and targets are met. Report downtime issues.
  • Daily paperwork is completed to the required standard for integrity
  • All transaction are processed through SAP in timely manner
  • Ensuring that reporting staff are trained to appropriate standards and manage the development plans for
  • each reporting team member
  • Prepare and manage SOPs for the process & production areas.
  • Support departmental KPI measuring and reporting OEE results.
  • Support the design and development of equipment, processes and procedures to ensure that they are
  • designed to meet GMP, H&S standards during scale up and transfer
  • Prepare and manage risk assessments of the production & process areas
  • Support and development of the safest and most cost- effective production methods.
  • Support and develop validation processes and procedures working with other key stakeholders

General:

  • Implement a continual improvement philosophy
  • Follow company guidelines, policy and systems for Health, Safety and the Environment
  • Build trust through effective communication with all departments of the group
  • Offer support to any other areas of the business as required
