Nine Twenty are delighted to support our manufacturing client to recruit a Production Planner to join their business for a period of 1 Year.
The Role
You will balance supply and demand through the management of all production and capacity planning activities ensuring all customer requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver short and medium term optimised production schedules utilising advanced planning systems
- Manage and maintain the production planning master data in the ERP system
- Ensure relevant production planning procedures and rules are adhered to and implemented
- Control the costs of stock holding in line with agreed policies whilst ensuring efficiency
- Build collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders
- Know and understand demand changes through alignment with the S&OP cycle
- Accountable for managing, reporting and reviewing Company KPI’s relevant
Essential Skills
- Educated to degree level or qualified by experience
- Comprehensive production/capacity planning knowledge gained in an FMCG or equivalent environment.
- Working understanding of modern advanced planning & scheduling techniques
- Experience of influencing and engaging with all levels of a business, globally
- Competency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Visio and SharePoint) and ERP systems
- Resilient and strong character with a passion to succeed and a drive to get the best from others
- Able to work effectively with limited guidance / direction and determine own priorities.
