Nine Twenty Technology are delighted to be partnering with a global IoT team in Austin, Texas in the recruitment of a Product Manager.

The team have a transformative and innovative approach to IoT and are recognised globally with their market leading products.

We are looking for someone with a track record of success in Product Management.

You will be responsible for developing requirements specifications and lead product roadmaps, from conception through launch to ongoing development and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • You will manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
  • You will assess competitors' products and create a view of the market.
  • You will share and test drive your insights with customers.
  • You will prioritize product requirements and create product requirements documentation.
  • You will work with engineering in an agile methodology. Create Epics, stories and participate in all the agile ceremonies (grooming, planning, retrospective and more). 
  • You will enthuse engineering teams with your product vision.
  • You will generate marketing and sales material for your products.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • 3+ years of product management experience.
  • Ability to identify customer's needs and turn them into commercial product offering.
  • Ability to define Minimum Viable Product is a smart way.
  • Experience in end-to-end service definition and creation.
  • Ability to communicate product plans and lead expectations to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to write clear, achievable requirements.
  • Experience or exposure to IoT, embedded and cloud technologies.
  • Technology background in software development, ideally as a software developer.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Understanding of software development lifecycle methods (e.g., agile)
  • Comfortable with web service and Linux software
  • Able to adapt to change and open-minded
