We are on the look out for a Technical Product Manager for their software product and services portfolio.

The role includes shaping product strategy, technical product management managing the development and support teams and working closely with the product marketing manager.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and will have proven experience in a Scrum Master position.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

  • A technical product management track record that includes working with education and training management and assessment software used by training providers, employer providers, vocational learning assessment providers and awarding organisations.
  • Experience of working with, analysts, developers, support teams, sales and product marketing teams.
  • Experience and knowledge of product marketing.
  • Experience capturing and analysing user requirements interpreting persona use scenarios and clearly articulating those as user stories for software development.
  • Experience creating a product vision, owning and managing product and service specifications and a product roadmap to achieve the vision.
  • Experience prioritising, sizing, and planning development, test and release activity via a product backlog.
  • An understanding of common challenges and factors driving business process streamlining and improvement for apprenticeship training, assessment and awarding organisations.
  • An understanding of product implementation and end user training methodology and technical and end user documentation required to support service and training delivery.
  • Able to apply a methodology to manage and monitor productivity and quality of development of cloud-based software.
