Process Technician

Our client who are leader in revolutionary diagnostic led care solutions are going through a huge expansion in the manufacture of their life saving medical devices. They are looking for a number of Process Technicians to join their facility based in Stirling or Eurocentral.

As a Process Technician you will support and work in close collaboration with the production team to become competent in all aspects of manufacturing including line operation, processes & procedures. You will diagnose product & process issues quickly and effectively and support to drive continuous improvement. You will analyse manufacturing data and conduct product & process testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in close collaboration with manufacturing operators and engineers to become full competent in manufacturing line operation, processes & procedures
  • Support monitoring of product & process data using statistical analysis 
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosis and resolution of problems in existing manufacturing plant and processes
  • Minimise downtime and remove areas of waste.
  • Improve manufacturing methods utilising knowledge of product design, materials, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment assembly methods.
  • Investigate and resolve Non-Conformances and Quality Events.
  • Support NPD Projects 
  • Support validation activities and completion of validation documentation 
  • Adhere to all relevant regulatory requirements.

Skills required:

  • A hands-on Technician with experience in a relevant industry (medical device/chemical/print)
  • Experience of optimising product & processes
  • Ability to analyse production data and conducting analysis on products 
  • High level of computer literacy in MS Office.
  • Competent in documentation and report writing.
