We are delighted to be working with our prestigious Drinks client who are on the look out for a New Make Wood Planner/Scheduler to join their team on a full time and permanent basis.
Responsibilities of the role but not limited to:
- To plan fillings in line with Quality Policy requirements
- To plan & execute wood requirements by type and final destination
- Manage and coordinate customer contracts for New Make Spirit
- Plan weekly tanker and cask filing with a 7 day rolling plan
- Manage new make vat levels
- Manage and coordinate rum supply
- Manage self and customer wood against filling plans
- Support mature spirit planner with tippling plans and mature spirit requirements
- Conduct daily review meetings with key internal customers
- Monitor and ensure new make filling is in line with agreed budgeted volumes at both sites and highlight opportunities and risks where appropriate
- Support supply chain KPI's
- Initiate and execute a yearly customer satisfaction survey for internal customers
- Support improvement activity
Skills required
- Educated to degree level in maths or science
- Understanding of full supply chain processes and procedures within an FMCG environment
- Ability to analyse and interpret data
- PC Literate
- Ability to build excellent working relationships
