As a senior member of the development team you will be instrumental in developing applications amongst a talented team of technologists, designers and project managers. This role is about more than just writing clean code; in this role you will be client facing, report progress to senior management and support and mentor junior members of staff.
What we need from you…
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
- The ability to plan and architect complicated systems
- The ability to estimate and brief tasks
- A passion for staying up to date with the new techy trends
- Liaise with clients in both meetings and calls
- Act as a support and mentor for Junior members of staff
The nitty gritty technical stuff…
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in modern, well-tested object-oriented PHP Development.
- Experience in Laravel or a similar PHP framework (Symfony, Zend).
- Design patterns and SOLID design principles.
- Git & Git workflows
- MySQL experience
- Test driven development – PHPUnit or similar.
- Front end experience – HTML5, JQuery, CSS
- Good UNIX fundamentals; Apache/OpenSSL/Package management

- Infrastructure management in an AWS environment
- Node/MongoDB/Redis
